ITINERARY

Day 1 - London - Arrival Calgary

Welcome to Canada! Upon arrival at Calgary International Airport, meet your Tour Director and transfer to the downtown Calgary hotel for the overnight.

Day 2 - CALGARY - BANFF NATIONAL PARK /CANMORE (approx. 160 km/up to 10 hours) ( B,L,D)

In the morning, enjoy a highlight sightseeing tour of Calgary with your Tour Director, including the downtown core, a view of the Calgary Tower, the Stampede Grounds, the Pengrowth Saddle Dome, the financial and shopping district and many other points of interest. Then, depart from Calgary and travel along the Trans-Canada Highway into the Canadian Rockies and into Banff National Park, Canada’s first national park. Enjoy a tour of Banff National Park, featuring the Banff town site, Tunnel Mountain, a spectacular view of the Banff Springs Hotel, Lake Minnewanka and much more. We also follow the Bow River to world famous Lake Louise. Probably Canada’s most photographed lake with the mighty Victoria Glacier in the background, this emerald-coloured lake leaves a lingering impression. Included is also a Gondola Ride up Sulphur Mountain for spectacular views of Banff and the mountains.

Day 3 - CANMORE – JASPER NATIONAL PARK - CANMORE (approx. 420 km / up to 10 hrs.) ( B,L,D)

The journey today may be the highlight of our program. We travel north along the Icefields Parkway to experience a wealth of breathtaking scenery. Crystal blue-green lakes, fresh mountain streams, deep forests, and snow-capped mountain peaks are the order of the day. After taking a sno coach ride along the Athabasca Glacier at the Columbia Icefields we enter Jasper National Park and join the Athabasca River as it leads us into the town of Jasper. In the evening we return to Canmore.

Day 4 - BANFF/CANMORE ( B,L,D)

Leisure day to explore on your own. (No coach available)

Day 5 - CANMORE TO BANFF – ROCKY MOUNTAINEER TO KAMLOOPS (Coach available for direct transfer to Banff Rocky Mountaineer Railway station only) ( B,L,D)

Board the famous “Rocky Mountaineer” train this morning. The story of the transcontinental railway is one marked with amazing architecture, and human determination. Enjoy some of the most breathtaking and varied rail scenery found anywhere in the world on this route. Travel past stunning lakes, through the coastal rainforest and the desert-like conditions of the Thompson and Fraser Canyons. Overnight in Kamloops in the dusty, rolling ranch land of "cowboy country" of interior B.C.

Day 6 -ROCKY MOUNTAINEER TO VANCOUVER (coach & local guide available for transfer from Railway station in Vancouver to hotel) ( B,L,D)

Today we board the Rocky Mountaineer to head west to the Pacific Coast. This unique daylight service allows us to view some of the most spectacular sights in Western Canada. Our route today departs the arid ranch land of interior British Columbia, then follows the courses of the Thompson and Fraser River to Vancouver, Canada`s Pearl on the Pacific Coast! Upon arrival, meet a local guide and coach to assist with transfer and check-in to your hotel.

Day 7 - VANCOUVER SIGHTSEEING & WHALEWATCHING (Coach or Guide available for up to 10 hours) ( B,L,D)

Vancouver is a vibrant seaside city framed by the Coastal Mountains. This morning we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver featuring such highlights as , Stanley Park to see the collection of totem poles, English Bay, trendy Robson Street, Canada Place and the Cruise Ship Pier, Gastown, Chinatown, and many other points of interest. Further, the group will Enjoy a Half-day (4-5 hours) Whale-watching excursion in the Straight of Georgia.

Day 8 - CRUISE TRANSFER (approx. 10 km/direct transfer only) ( B,L,D)

The morning is at leisure until direct transfer to Canada Place Cruise Ship Pier, with English- speaking guide for assistance.

Day 9 to Day 13 - OWN ARRANGEMENTS ( B,L,D)

The group will be on the Alaska Cruise. NO Services arranged

Day 14 - DAY EXCURSION TO NORTH VANCOUVER (approx. 60 km / up to 10 hrs.) ( B,L,D)

After meeting a local guide & coach at the Canada Place Cruise Terminal, you will cross the Lions Gate Suspension Bridge, to Vancouver’s North Shore, for a visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and walk across the bridge, high above the Capilano River. We then take the Gondola up to Grouse Mountain, which provides splendid views of the City of Vancouver, Burrard Inlet and surrounding areas. Return back to Vancouver for your final night of the trip.

Day 15 - DEPARTURE (approx. 30 km/direct transfer only) (B)

The morning is at leisure until direct transfer to Vancouver International Airport, with English- speaking guide for assistance for the departure flight.

Day 16 - Arrive in London
