ITINERARY

Day 1 - London - Yogyakarta

Overnight flight

Day 2: Arrival at Yogyakarta (D)

Upon arrival at Adi Sucipto International Airport, after the immigration process, we will be met by our airport representative at the pickup point holding sign board of our group and transfer to our hotel in Yogyakarta. Welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Yogyakarta City Tour- Prambanan Temple (B, L, D)

After breakfast spends our morning touring in Jogjakarta, former Indonesia's capital city we start the tour by visiting its valuable and special places Sultan Palace (Kraton) dating back to the 17th century, viewing Water Castle. Encouraging the joyful seeing the beauty of famous traditional handicrafts works of Kotagede central of silversmiths, traditional batik home industry, famous Malioboro street, a great long-colorful bazaar of souvenir shop and the old market Beringharjo. In the afternoon we visit Plaosan Temple which is one of Buddhist temples in Prambanan District, built in the mid of 9th century.
Next, we visit Java’s most interesting Hindu shrine Prambanan Temple as one of the most magnificent Hindu’s temple in the world, known as the Roro Jonggrang temple or the temple of the ‘Slender Virgin’ with a famous bas-relief depicting the Ramayana story. Then visit Candi Sewu, is an 8th-century Buddhist temple in Prambanan area. This temple is also known as the second largest Buddhist temple in Java after Borobudur. Afterward, we return to the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 4: Borobudur Temple- Merapi View (B, L, D)

After morning breakfast enjoy a delightful scenic drive this morning through villages and paddies area; firstly discover Borobudur Temple, one of the greatest monuments, as the largest and most complete ensemble of Buddhist reliefs in the world. Then visit Pawon Temple, built in 824 AD, a combination of both ancient Javanese Hindu and Indian architecture. Then visit Mendut Temple that has a pyramid shaped roof and in which there is a statue of Buddha flanked by two statues.
Afterward proceed to Kaliadem, a strategic & famous spot to view Merapi Volcano from a close distance, and it was the place where the hot lava from the crater was flowing down setting firehouses, plantations and burying them in the hot sand. Return to the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 5: Yogyakarta-Malang (B, L, D)

After early breakfast, we will be transferred to the railway station and then experience the overland train to Mojokerto. The train trip will take approx. 4 hours, passing the charming of Javanese landscape, sugar cane plantations, rice paddy fields, and teak forests. Upon arrival, we will continue the scenic drive for approx. 3 hours to reach our hotel in Malang.

Day 6: Malang City Tour (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we are picked up from the hotel by our guide to explore Malang City. Driving past the Malang Monument, City Square, Kayutangan Church (is the oldest church in Malang), then we visit Pasar Bezar is a big traditional market where we can buy a variety of goods such as fruits that we can take home as a souvenir. Return to the hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 7: Malang-Bromo (B, L, D)

Breakfast at our leisure, by mid-morning we check-out from the hotel and drive to Singosari Temple. This well preserved Hindu temple dates from 1300AD and is a reminder of the great Hindu kingdoms that ruled East Java before the arrival of Islam.
We drive approx. 2 hours to our hotel in Bromo site. Check-in at the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 8: Bromo-Kalibaru (B, L, D)

Early wakeup calls this morning and takes a drive towards Mount Bromo to witness sunrise and tour in the volcano crater. We will travel by 4WD jeep to a viewing spot with stunning views of the Bromo volcano and surroundings. Watch the sun rise up from behind the volcano in Penanjakan.
Continue by jeep down to the volcano caldera, often still covered by mist in the early morning. The mist, combined with the gray ashen-covered ground form to create an unusual atmosphere, often compared to the surface of the moon.
A 20-minute ride on horseback will take us to a set of stairs which lead to the rim of the still-active Bromo crater.
Return to our hotel for breakfast and rest of the morning at our leisure. Then we start our journey to the small town called Kalibaru (sub-district) in western Banyuwangi Regency, surrounded by ranges of hills, rich with coffee plantations. Check-in at the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 9: Kalibaru-Free At Leisure (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we take a walk at the surrounding of the hotel to see a small plantation of coffee, cocoa, clove, vanilla, pepper, dragon fruit, chili, and banana. Here we will also see the traditional way of producing palm sugar / brown sugar.
Rest of day is free at leisure.

Day 10: Kalibaru-Lovina (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we check out and drive towards Ketapang harbour and take a ferry to cross the Bali Strait to Bali. The ferry trip will take approx. 30 minutes. Then we commence our journey to Lovina Beach (drive approx 2.5hrs), is the most developed tourism area in the North Bali with volcano black sand with the ring of fire in the south providing a spectacular backdrop to coastal setting. It's a quiet place, the slow pace of village life, coupled with the tranquillity of the beach and calm seas which are excellent for snorkelling and diving. Daily dolphin attraction in their natural habitat can also be watched early in the morning.
Check in at the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 11: Lovina-Sanur (B, L, D)

Lovina is famous for its dolphin watching tours. If you are interested, you can book this optional activity through the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will start on board a local outrigger to witness the friendly dancing dolphins welcoming the morning sun.
After breakfast heading to Brahma Arama Vihara is a Buddhist Monastery, stands in the very peaceful place and has panoramic views overlooking Lovina Beach. It painted with colorful decorations. It has a very bright orange roof and some Buddha statues it also has Balinese decorative carvings. Right off the top, we will see the complexes of stupas as the miniature of Borobudur. Then enjoy a scenic drive passing rural villages and hundreds of village temples to Munduk which is a tiny village on the slope of Mount Batukaru that is famous for its plantations such as coffee, cocoa, and vanilla. In Munduk we will explore the waterfalls. This is not only a visit to a beautiful waterfall place in Bali but also a short hiking deep into the rain tropical forest of Munduk Village. We continue our scenic drive passing the twin lakes of Tamblingan and Buyan to Bedugul which is an attractive mountain resort located 850 m above sea level. Serene Lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru. The pretty temple, Ulun Danu on the water’s edge, is dedicated to Dewi Danu the goddess of the waters. Here, also visit the colours of fruits and vegetables market in Candikuning. Then proceed to our hotel in Sanur beach area.

Day 12/13/14/15 at Leisure (B, D)

Daily breakfast at your leisure. You can stay at the hotel and enjoy its facilities or relax on the beach or explore the hotel surroundings. If you interested, you may join optional tour such as Tanah Lot Sunset, Ubud Artisan Village and Volcano Tour, East of Bali Tour, Dramatic Kecak Uluwatu Tour with Beach Dinner. Activities: White Water Rafting, Elephant Safari Ride, Day Cruise to Lembongan Island, etc. Lunch is at leisure on the personal account. Dinner will be provided at the hotel.

Day 16: Sanur-Departure Bali (B)

After breakfast morning free at leisure till time to check out and transfer to the airport to take our flight home.
