ITINERARY

Day 1: London Heathrow

Depart from London Heathrow on the flight to Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar

Arrive Srinagar. On arrival, you will be met by our representative at the airport. You will be transferred to your hotel. This place is famous for its lakes and the charming houseboats floating on them, Srinagar is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
The lake comprises a series of water bodies, including the Nagin Lake. One can take in the panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Srinagar from this lake. Kashmiri boats called Shikaras are used to explore the intricate maze of waterways on this lake.
Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3: Srinagar

Proceed for a full-day tour of Srinagar. Visit the famed Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Gardens, and Chashmeshahi Gardens. These well laid out terraced gardens, replete with cascading fountains and beautiful flowering shrubs and trees, were built for the relaxation of the Mughal Emperor and his queens. Proceed to the Hazratbal Mosque, an important Muslim religious place, with its pristine white marble elegance reflected in the waters of Dal Lake. Hazratbal's special significance is derived from the fact that it houses a hair of the prophet Muhammad. This is displayed to the public on religious occasions.

Day 4: Gulmarg

Breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to Gulmarg (46 km / 2 hrs approx). Arrive Gulmarg and check in to your hotel. The journey to Gulmarg is enchanting, roads bordered by of poplar trees and flat expanses of rice fields interspersed with picturesque villages. Proceed for a full-day tour of Gulmarg. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Srinagar

Breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to Srinagar (46 km / 2 hrs approx). Arrive Srinagar and check in to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Srinagar

Proceed for the full day excursion of Sonmarg (one way 76 km / 2.5 hrs approx). The drive to Sonamarg takes you through some spectacular countryside in the Sindh Valley, which is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir.It has beautiful deep rock-cut gorges and open grassy meadowlands. Sonmarg, which means 'meadow of gold' has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer. Return to Srinagar, Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Delhi

Take a flight from Srinagar to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and check in to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a City tour of Old and New Delhi.
Old Delhi – Drive past the magnificent Red Fort (closed on Mondays). Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride in the by lanes of Chandini Chowk. Drive past Kotla Firoze Shah, ruins of an old fort of the 14th century. Visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Drive through the old city subject to traffic restrictions Afternoon, continue to New Delhi - Drive past the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate, Visit the Qutub Minar, the 72-meter high Minaret.
Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 9: Return to U.K.

Proceed to the airport to board the flight to London Heathrow
