Day 1: London-Yangon

Day 2: Yangon Arrival

You will be picked up from the airport of Yangon where your driver is waiting for you. And you will be transferred to your hotel by private car(driver only).
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon ( B/L/-)

To start Yangon half day tour, you will be picked up at your hotel by your guide and taken to the Shwedagon Pagoda. You will not only see the pagoda from the outside but your guide takes you through the hidden back doors and the nearby streets. The excursion includes a Burmese lunch, a visit to the monks of the temple and a Traditional lucky predictor.

Day 4: Yangon – Bagan ( B/-/-)

You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the airport (driver only). Arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the Bagan where your guide will take you for a cycle trip to Bagan's ancient kingdoms with panoramic views of Bagan temples. You can insert a stop as often as you want to take in the mystical atmosphere or make the most beautiful photos. For sunset, we take a horse-cart to enjoy the richest archaeological treasures in Southeast Asia. After this, you are brought back to your hotel.

Day 5: Bagan ( B/-/-)

Option: Balloon sailing over Bagan (USD 290/per person).
Daily between October & mid-April, 5.30-8.00 or 8.30
One of the most beautiful and fun excursions you can do in Myanmar. In the morning before the sun rises, enjoy a beautiful view of the huge temple area of Bagan. Afterwards, a certificate is given together with a champagne breakfast. After that, you will be taken back to the hotel and you will be a once in a lifetime experience richer!

Off the beaten track village tour (half day)
Start your fantastic tour to the countryside of Myanmar with your personal driver and guide. For anyone who is interested in the daily life of the locals. Lovers of photography can get their heart off, you keep taking pictures! You travel by 4WD Jeep through the dry zone to small villages like Nyaung Gyi, Se Wa, and Taung Kong. You meet locals, see them working in the fields and visit local family businesses. An unforgettable excursion!
In the late afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel to the starting point of the private cruise over the Ayeyarwaddy River (driver only). Here you can enjoy a drink and appetizer to enjoy the sunset over the beautiful old Bagan. Brought back to the hotel after.

Day 6: Bagan to Heho and Inle Lake ( B/-/-)

You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the airport (driver only). In Heho, you will be picked up from the airport (driver only) and you will visit the Heho Market where you guide is waiting for you. Visit local market where locals of the ethnic groups do sell their goods. After visiting the market, you will visit a local family workshop where you learn how to make traditional shan umbrellas and paper using the mulberry trees fibers. Thereafter you will be taken to your hotel.

Day 7: Inle Lake ( B/L/-)

Today you are making a day trip to Inle Lake. You will be picked up at your hotel by driver and guide and brought to the lake by a private boat. Today you’ll visit the floating gardens, see the one-legged fishermen and have lunch at an Intha family in their home. Around the lake there is a market rotating every 5 days, you will visit. These colorful markets are crowded with local people. Also, visiting the beautiful Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda may not be missed.

Day 8: Inle Lake ( B/L/-)

Pa O for a day - trekking (day trip)
Today, you live the way the Pa O do. You visit their villages in the hills, go to the land and taste their dishes. In the morning, your guide will pick you up, and you will be taken by oxcart to the starting point. After about 2.5 hours walk (uphill) you arrive in the first Pa O village. You talk to the monks and visit a local school. If you want, you can dress in traditional Pa O costume. After another 30 minutes’ walk (flat ground) you will arrive in the next village where you will get an authentic Pa O lunch. With dishes like ginger soup, puffed pumpkin, and the salad of sukini leaves. After lunch, you have time to explore the village and to relax. In the afternoon you will walk about 2.5 hours - via small farms with ginger, garlic, and turmeric in the direction of Inle Lake. On the way, you have beautiful views of the area. You will be returned by boat to your hotel.

(OR) You can join for Shan Cooking Workshop if you don't like trekking.
You will be picked up at your hotel by tuk-tuk or boat and brought to a beautiful spot on the lake (driver only). The workshop starts at 2.00 - 3.00 PM till 5.30-6.00 PM. You are welcomed by the chef of your cooking workshop. After a cup of tea, you start cooking and learn how to make 8 to 10 traditional Shan dishes. At the end of the afternoon, you will have your own prepared dinner at the veranda, and take in the charming experienced you’ve just been part of. At the end, you get a very cool recipes book of all dishes to impress your family and friends when back home. After that, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 9: Inle Lake – Heho to Yangon ( B/-/-)

Today you will be taken to the airport to Heho airport for your flight to Yangon (driver only). Upon arrival at Yangon Airport, you will be taken to Yangon Railway Station (driver only). Meet your guide there and hop on the circle train. After about 45 to 60 minutes you leave the train and the driver and guide are waiting for you to visit the local market, where you will maybe be the only foreigner. Then you will be taken to Yangon city center where many historic buildings are located. During your walk through the lively Chinatown market full of merchants and stalls, you visit a local pharmacy and learn more about traditional Burmese medicine. Then you will be transferred to hotel and your time is at leisure.

Day 10: Yangon - Mawlamyaing ( B/L/-)

After an early breakfast, you start with a nice trip with the private driver and guide through the Mon province towards Mawlamyine. You will visit the city of Suvannabhumi and the town of Thaton. On arrival at Mawlamyine, a delicious lunch with Mon specialties will be prepared for you by a local family. In the afternoon you will visit the Mon Museum. Then we walk around the area with colonial buildings where writers like Orwell and Kipling lived. Our last visit for today is the Hpa Ouk village. After this, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 11: Mawlamyaing and Hpa An (B/L/D)

Today you will be picked up by your guide and start the day by visiting the Seindon Mabaya Monastery. Then you travel to Ni Paya, where you have a beautiful view of the city and the Thanlwin river. After this, you step on a cruise ship for a river cruise to Hpa Na. You make a stop in U Na Auk where you step into a TukTuk to visit the temples of U Na Auk. Afterwards, you step back on the cruise boat. After lunch, you make another stop in Pa Lin village and at the end of the afternoon, you reach Hpa An. You will be taken to your hotel and in the evening you will dine at a local restaurant where you can try the traditional Kayin dish Talabaw soup or any other dish.

Day 12: Hpa An ( B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and taken to the starting point for a kayak ride. You paddle past the rice fields and traditional Kayin villages and along the way you visit a traditional wooden Kayin house where you can enjoy some delights. Afterwards, you continue to the famous Saddar cave. Return to your hotel.
You will be picked up at your hotel in afternoon and taken to the starting point of the bike tour. You will travel along with the guide to the Kyauk Ka Latt Pagoda, 5 km south of Hpa-An. After this, you will cycle through the beautiful and colorful Lumbuni gardens located at the foot of the Zwababin mountain, the symbol of Hpa-An. Then we visit the magic Kaw Ka Thaung cave with thousands of stone Buddha statues. Afterwards, you visit the village of Kayin and we cycle back to Hpa An.

Day 13: Hpa An – Myawaddy and Maesot to Sukhothai ( B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will visit a local market in Hpa An with your guide. After this visit, you will have 2-hour drive to Myawaddy, where you will cross the border to Thailand (Measot). Your guide will leave and the Thai driver then brings you to your hotel in Sukhothai.

Day 14: Sukhothai ( B/L/-)

In the morning you start with a bike tour in the Historical Park of Sukhothai. You will be picked up at 8.15 by your guide. First, you will visit a small village (Ban Kheay) on the outskirts of Sukhothai. We take the dirt road through endless rice fields with a beautiful view of the Kao Laung mountain range in the Ramkhamheang National Park. When arriving at the south gate, we explore some of Sukhothai's famous ancient ruins. After a delicious local lunch, we will continue our bike tour through rural villages and will be back in the hotel around 16:00. The total distance is about 35-40 kilometers.

Day 15: Sukhothai - Bangkok ( B/-/D)

This day you are being picked up from the hotel and taken to the train station of Phitsanulok where you will board on train number 106, 2nd class, at around 8.55 AM. Around 14.40 PM you arrive at the train station where a diver is taking you to your hotel.
Bangkok Sunset Food Ride - join-in excursion - about 4 hours
You travel on your own to the Royal Orchid Sheraton hotel. This is the starting point of today's cycling tour. After picking the right bike you get on the bike and cross the first river that brings you to the Thonburi side of Bangkok. With your bike, you walk across the Klongsan market. Afterwards, you ride in a calm pace to the beautiful Chinese pagoda, on the banks of the Chao Praya River. The pagoda is 8 floors and is on the inside is finished with granite and bronze and has windows in the form of birds and other animals. You continue the cycling tour through a quiet neighborhood and stop at the second market. This is a food market, where you can get your appetizer for today. Fortunately, your guide can explain everything about what is being offered. You get back on the bike, to the Temple of the Dawn (Wat Arun). For the main course of today, you go to a typical Thai restaurant. After enjoying the food you ride along Wat Rakhang Khositaram to the pier where you cross over to the other side of the river. Via Sanam Luang and the Grand Palace, you ride to Wat Pho. In this temple, you will find more than 1,000 Buddha statues, and it is home to the Landscape Buddha, Thailand's largest Buddhist image. You will continue your ride to the flower market Pak Klong Talad. This market is a feast for your senses, by the colors and smells of the fresh flowers sold here 24 hours a day. The bicycle trip ends at the Royal Orchid Sheraton hotel, where you go back to your hotel on your own. The excursion is excluding transport to/from the starting point of cycling, and drinks. It includes a bicycle, bike helmet, guide, twice a boat crossing, Thai snack, and dinner. From starting age of 12 years.

Day 16: Bangkok ( B/-/D)

You will be picked up by your guide with the public transport and long tail boat to Rattanakosin. You will visit Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) and proceed to the Khlongs and see daily life and fresh markets around. Afterwards, you will visit the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaeo). You will have lunch in between and afterward you will be returned to your hotel.

Siam Niramit Show
At the end of the afternoon, you will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the Siam Niramit theater where you will admire the traditional Siam Niramit show. After arriving at the theater you can enjoy a delicious buffet with a variety of Thai and Western dishes. Your seat is already reserved. At 20:00, the approximately 80 minutes show will take you of Thailand's art and cultural heritage. The show consists of three parts depicting the history of the kingdom of Siam and Buddhism. Afterwards, you will be returned to your hotel. Excursion including buffet, drinks, and show, the transport you will pay on-site to your driver.

(OR) You can have Diner Cruise over the Chao Praya River
Back at Warden jetty, we cycle on a separate bike lane past the colonial buildings on Strand road towards our office on 49th street, where refreshing drinks and snow towels are waiting for the finishers!
For this option, you will be on your own to the pier where you will go on board of a cruise boat. Tonight you can enjoy a relaxed evening sailing over the Chao Phraya river. Relax and enjoy the Thai dished of fish and seafood. During the cruise, you sail past the beautiful historical sights. The excursion is excluding transport to/from the starting point and drinks. It includes the boat trip and dinner.

Day 17: Departure Bangkok ( B/-/-)

You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the airport.
